Pippa Middleton makes her design debut

The Duchess of Cambridge’s sister Pippa Middleton is making her design
debut after teaming up with London designer Tabitha Webb to create a dress
and scarf to raise money for The British Heart Foundation (BHF).

Middleton, who is a long-term ambassador for the BHF, is hoping that
her first foray into fashion will help to raise much needed funds to help
the BHF continue its life saving research, with all profits from the sale
of the dress and scarf going to help fight against cardiovascular diseases.

“As an Ambassador for the British Heart Foundation, I wanted to do
something different and exciting on behalf of this inspiring charity,”
Middleton told The Telegraph. “I’m thrilled I was able to collaborate with
Tabitha on this project to help raise additional funds and awareness for
the charity.”

The BHF dress is a silk tea dress, cut just below the knee with
flattering cap sleeves and features a pink and red floral print, and costs
295 pounds, while the matching lightweight scarf made from a modal and
cashmere blend retails for 95 pounds.

Commenting on the collaboration, Webb added: “I’m really honoured to be
a part of such an amazing project. It has been an absolute pleasure to work
with Pippa throughout the designing process and we are delighted with the
outcome.”

Both the dress and scarf are available at tabithawebb.co.uk, as well as
at the label’s Elizabeth Street, London, SW1 store.
