ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO — A controversial billboard comparing President Donald Trump to Jesus has been removed from its former home on Interstate 170 near St. Charles Rock Road just days after drivers first noticed it.
The billboard, which went up in north St. Louis County sometime over the weekend, featured a photo of the president with the slogan “Make The Gospel Great Again” emblazoned in the top right corner. A partial Bible verse, “The Word Became Flesh…” from John 1:14, was written in a large font along the bottom third, just beneath Trump’s picture.

On Monday, DDI Media, an advertising company based in St. Louis, said it had removed the billboard because of its “political nature and the fact that it did not disclose the sponsoring organization.”
