At The Recent NXT UK TV Tapings, it was announced that WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne will be facing WALTER at NXT TakeOver: New York on April 5th.
NXT UK General Manager Johnny Saint notified Dunne that he would be defending his WWE United Kingdom Title at the event and Dunne immediately asked for WALTER. The two recently had a contract signing to make the match official.
Dunne has been the champion for 643+ days. WALTER debuted with the brand last month at NXT TakeOver: Blackpool.
