More Details on Possible Changes to WWE PPVs & Matches

— In a follow up to a previous story about WWE making changes to its PPV structure, the plan appears to be to move to 14 PPVs this year and then down to 12 per year (once per month) for 2019.

— All the “minor” PPVs will likely be increased an hour to include two matches on the Kickoff Show and then a four-hour main PPV. Both Raw and Smackdown each week would push the same PPV every month where all the top stars would compete.

— This could also suggest that the multi-person matches that are becoming more and more common are here to stay, while at the same time, another potential change would be to shorten matches in order to get more of them on the show.
