Raw Star Receives Name Change, Dana Brooke Slams WWE, Honor Club

WWE has been known to alter or shorten the ring names of their wrestlers occasionally. The name changes can be done for a reason or no reason at all, but it does not matter how long that person has been wrestling on the WWE roster as stars such as Antonio Cesaro and Alexander Rusev have had their names tweaked to simply Cesaro and Rusev. Just last year WWE decided to shorten Elias Samson’s name to just Elias. The latest name change has affected Raw Superstar and Titus Worldwide member Apollo Crews. WWE has decided to simply change the young wrestler’s name to simply Apollo. His profiles on WWE’s official website have since been updated to reflect the name change.
Dana Brooke is currently a member of the Raw roster but one would be forgiven if he or she forgot that Brooke was still part of the company. Brooke is very rarely used on television by the company and the Titus Worldwide member has now publicly criticized WWE for not using her more on TV. She posted a tweet recently mentioning her displeasure with being left out of the upcoming women’s Elimination Chamber match, and she also referred to herself as the “invisible woman” in that same message. Given that the men’s Elimination Chamber match has 7 participants, there is a chance that Brooke could enter the match, but it looks like the women’s match may already be set for the show this Sunday night.

HELLO! ACCORDING 2 MY NUMBERS, the men have 7 superstars in their chamber; therefore I should be included! 7 WOMEN! Oh wait, invisible woman again?, or just overlooking PURE TALENT!? #numbersdontlie #wwe #raw #TitusWorldwide @WWE pic.twitter.com/UApYAiwYEv

One of the top trends in the professional wrestling industry is for promotions to launch their very own streaming service. WWE has obviously done that very well with the WWE Network, New Japan Pro Wrestling offers NJPW World, and Impact Wrestling has since gone on to launch the Global Wrestling Network for themselves. Ring of Honor has since gotten in on the action for themselves by launching what they have coined the Honor Club. The new service offers tons of live and past content from ROH and can be accessed through the brand new ROHWrestling.com website. The promotion has also promised that the service will soon be available for iOS and Android Apps, as well as on Roku, Apple TV, and Android TV.
