In what is believed to be the final set of NXT television tapings that he will be working now that he made his official WWE main roster debut at the post-WrestleMania 33 episode of SmackDown Live last night, Tye Dillinger was one-half of a big steel cage match announcement that took place.
The man known as “Perfect 10” will be going one-on-one against SAnitY’s Eric Young in what will be the third steel cage match in the history of NXT, as the two will collide inside the enclosed structure later this evening for the NXT TV episode that is scheduled to air on the WWE Network on Wednesday, April 19th.
Dillinger and Young led four-person teams in an eight-person intergender tag-team match that took place as part of the NXT TakeOver: Orlando special on the WWE Network during WrestleMania 33 weekend this past Saturday night. Dillinger’s team came up short, however “Perfect 10” as a solo act would go on to debut on the WWE main roster on the 4/4 episode of SmackDown Live, defeating Curt Hawkins in singles competition.
Check back here later this evening for complete spoiler results of the set of NXT television tapings that is currently ongoing at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, and will cover all of the shows scheduled to air throughout the month of April.
