UPDATE: This story has since been updated.
Multiple sources within both the pro wrestling and MMA community are hearing rumors and reports that WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is backstage at tonight’s UFC 226 pay-per-view in Las Vegas. It’s also being said that the “Beast Incarnate” has reentered the USADA testing pool, which as we’ve noted, he would have had to do before June 30th in order to compete before the end of 2018.
UFC 226 is headlined by a heavyweight title fight between Daniel Cormier and Stepe Miocic, and it’s been rumored for some time now that if Lesnar were to return to the octagon, that he might be next in line for a shot at the belt. His last fight came at UFC 200 back in 2016 where he initially scored a victory by unanimous decision over Mark Hunt, but the win was later overturned after Lesnar tested positive for a banned substance.
Take this all with a grain of salt, as we are still working to confirm the rumors that the WWE Superstar is backstage in Las Vegas, although with so many reporters currently hearing the same information, it’s likely that we’ll see Brock appear on pay-per-view before the end of the night.
