In speaking after his Lille side’s 3-1 win at Nice last night, coach Jocelyn Gourvennec explained he sees the club’s season as being more positive and negative and plans to stay for next season. When asked about his future, Gourvennec said:

“I’m happy at Lille. You’ll have to ask the president and the shareholders. We did some great things this year. A post-title season is hard, there were imperfections, non-performances but there are a lot of positives… winning the Champions Trophy and making our way into the Champions League last 16, many coaches would wish for that”.
