Speaking ahead of his Paris Saint-Germain side’s trip to Reims tomorrow, Mauricio Pochettino notably discussed the ongoing transfer saga around forward Kylian Mbappé amid reports of a potential move to Real Madrid.

His press conference transcribed by RMC Sport, the Argentine indicated that the World Cup winner had not made him aware of any desire to leave, and that the forward was involved in preparation for the trip to Champagne.

On whether Mbappé had told him that he wanted to leave:

“No. […] Kylian is working hard as usual, he’s preparing for the match on Sunday. In terms of communication, the president and director of sport have clearly defined the club’s position.”
