Speaking in an interview with CNEWS, Brazilian and PSG attacker Neymar admitted that he would like to become a professional poker player after his playing career as a footballer is over.

“It is true, it is true. It is one of the things that I like to do the most. I feel very comfortable and I think that after playing football, I will be able to play in tournaments, travel to play in the tournaments that I have always wanted to participate in and that I was not able to because of my schedule and my career. So when I will have finished my football career, this is one of the things that I will do, travel to play in these type of tournaments. I already said to (André) Akkari that we would travel together, I also spoke with another one of my friends and it is one of the things that I see myself doing because I have been playing for a long time, I play nearly everyday and I try to learn more and more. I ask for lots of advice from Akkari and other friends who are also professional poker players to be able to improve my game. And I am sure that in a few years, when I will have finished my career, I will be a bit better, I will know how to take advantage of the game itself and enjoy myself, that is the most important thing.”
