Freelance journalist Ignazio Genuardi reports that 29-year-old Rennes midfielder Jakob Johansson is nearing a move to Swedish side IFK Göteborg.
Johansson, who has not made a single league appearance for SRFC this season, is set to return to the club where he spent 8 years at.
He is under contract until June 2020 with Rennes, who are actively seeking to offload the Swede.
