L’Équipe report that Premier League side Leicester City are actively pursuing a deal for Ligue 1 side Brest’s central midfielder Ibrahima Diallo.
The 20-year-old defensive midfielder has enjoyed a good start to life in Ligue 1, starting 14 matches so far this season after joining Brest permanently from AS Monaco in summer.
Aside from Sevilla, Leicester have also made enquiries with Brest for the player. The Foxes got in contact about a deal for this January, but the French top flight side have flat out refused.
As for the player, he has also given Leicester a firm no – he wants to at least complete a full season with Brest.
