Ouest-France and Le Progrès report that Lyon are on the verge of completing a €25m + €2.5m in bonuses deal for 21-year-old French youth international attacking midfielder Jeff Reine-Adélaïde, in what will be a record sale for Angers SCO.

AS Monaco have also had a similar bid accepted by Angers, but the player waited it out and wanted Lyon to match it, which they have now done. “Jeff” only wants to leave Angers for Champions’ League football and whilst he has yet give the final green light to the deal, that feels imminent.
