L’Équipe report that Spanish side Sevilla have put €11m to €13m on the table to sign Argentine winger Lucas Ocampos from Marseille, a bid that the French side are said to be seriously considering.
The offer was made in recent hours, but with OM in a position where they need to sell in order to remain within the boundaries of FFP, there is a good chance that Marseille will bite and consider a sale of one of their best players of the 2018/19 campaign.
OM’s conditions are €15m, for a player with just 12 months remaining on his current deal.
Contract talks between Ocampos and Sevilla are at an advanced stage, with the contours of a long-term deal already set out.
Burnley have had a bid of €11m for the Argentine rejected in recent days, considered to be too low by Marseille.
