Jasper Wiese was at his destructive best in the Premiership tie between Saracens and Leicester Tigers on Sunday, charging through the defence to set up a try for Handre Pollard.
Leicester Tigers claimed a crucial victory over Saracens to strengthen their charge for a Premiership playoff spot defeating the Londoners 24-18.
It was a memorable day for the defending champions, who fronted the League leaders without several England stars. Ollie Chessum, Dan Cole, Jack van Poortvliet, Freddie Steward, and Anthony Watson were all unavailable for selection.
Wonderful Wiese break
Wiese got Tigers off to a rip-roaring start running a sharp angle off the shoulder of Jimmy Gopperth from a lineout.
He evaded the first attempted tackle from Alex Lozoskwi near the halfway line and sped away into the 22.
He then beat the tackle of Rotimi Segun and a poor attempt from Sean Maitland.
Andy Christie managed to drag the rampaging Springbok loose forward down inches short of the try line. The Tigers quickly recycled the ball, and Ben Youngs fired the ball out to Pollard, who was flat and just needed to reach out to finish off the try.

The try inside the first five minutes set the tone for the encounter as Leicester led throughout the match.
On point Pollard
Pollard was on song for the side scoring 14 points, including three conversions and three penalties.
Cameron Henderson and Mike Brown also scored before the break as the Tigers led 24-3 at halftime. Saracens fought back in the second half, with Eroni Mawi and Alex Lewington scoring early into the second 40.
However, Leicester would hold out for the 24-18 victory.
Brown was named man of the match in his first appearance for the Tigers since signing a short-term deal with the side.
Jasper Wiese played a crucial role in the game, making 22 carries, the most in the match, gaining 96 metres. He also beat ten defenders and weighed in with 19 tackles.
