FC Metz have decided not to take further action in terms of the future of Turkish striker Mevlut Erding – his loan spell from Hannover 96 has been underwhelming and he will return there this summer, Les Grenats do not want to explore the possibility of extending his stay.

As for Senegalese international and versatile defender and midfielder Fallou Diagne, FC Metz President Bernard Serin explained the man on loan from Werder Bremen’s situation in an interview with Républican Lorrain:

“We have the option to activate an option to buy after the first six months of this loan deal, but we have decided to continue with the initial loan which is for a year and a half.”
