AS Monaco have announced the appointment of Antonio Cordon as their new Sporting Director following the departures of Claude Makélélé and Luis Campos.

Cordon joins after leaving Villarreal, where his skills were on show last season notably through the signing of Cédric Bakambu.

Cordon was Monaco’s second choice, after a deal with Angers & Sporting Director Olivier Pickeu failed to be reached.
