According to AFP, PSG right-back Serge Aurier will stand trial in September following his altercation with police officers following a night out that rolled into the early hours of Monday morning.
PSG have released a statement in which they refuse to condemn or absolve Serge Aurier of blame, indicating that the individual is “innocent until proven guilty” and that they will not take any action until his trial in September has been completed.
A policeman has taken legal action against Serge Aurier after claiming that the Ivorian assaulted him.
Aurier has decided to counter-sue on the grounds that he was subjected to police brutality on the behalf of the individuals who had to haul him out of a vehicle on Monday morning after he refused to get out.
