According to France Football, Reims have appointed Michel der Zakarian as their new manager.

der Zakarian has only recently left FC Nantes, but has agreed to drop divisions to Ligue 2 in order to bring SDR back up to the French top flight and quickly as possible.

der Zakarian will take over from David Guion, who was the side’s interim manager for four matches following the sacking of Olivier Guegan.

der Zakarian has agreed to a two year contract with the option of a year’s extension. His assistant manager is set to be Franck Rizzetto and he will arrive on Monday.
