Inter Milan Sporting Director Piero Ausilio has confirmed to La Gazzetta dello Sport that the Serie A side has renewed their interest in PSG player Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Ausilio had the following to say on the Argentinian, whose contract expires in 2016:

“This summer, we tried to sign him. We were looking for an attacker, but we finally went for Adem Ljajic. There was little chance to sign Lavezzi, he wanted to play Champions League football. It was a very expensive-looking transfer, we will see what will happen.”
