Bottom-of-the-table Guingamp host a resurgent Marseille at the Stade du Roudourou on Friday evening. The home side remain pointless this campaign, having lost all of their opening three league games, against Nantes, Lyon and, most recently, Bastia. They are also still waiting for their first goal of the season.

Marseille, on the other hand, had no problems finding the net last weekend. The visitors thrashed Troyes 6-0 in Michel’s first game in charge, a welcome result for Marseille fans following the two dismal defeats that preceded it in the league. The challenge for Michel and his side now is to prove that they really have turned a corner by making it two wins in a row this evening.
