This year was a big one for baby Luna Stephens, daughter of Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. She learned how to eat solid food, took her first trip to London, learned how to cook with her supermodel mom, dressed up in many different costumes for her first Halloween, starred in a music video, and now she can give a little wave to the camera on cue.

In an adorable video Teigen posted to Instagram, Luna sits upright in a pink onesie, and waves to the camera after her mom prompts her with a, “Hi!” She even attempts to sound out the word for herself. Too cute!

“We miss you, papa!!” Teigen captioned the video. “Can’t wait for you to come home! (Yes she has rosy eczema cheeks, yes we are taking care of it, no it’s not a gluten allergy, no it’s not our makeup, no it’s not from our perfume, yes she’s just a baby).” Chrissy Teigen: fending off the haters, before they even get a chance to hate.

Legend has been traveling to promote his new album Glory, and stopped by Sesame Street to film a few segments for the children’s show. He even got the cast to sing a song just for Luna, officially proving himself to be Dad of the Year.
