It’s Official! Lady Gaga Announces 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Performance

It’s official. Break out your finest platform heels, Little Monsters, because Lady Gaga is headlining the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime show!

After plenty of speculation by the public, the 30-year-old pop phenom finally confirmed via social media that she would be taking the coveted stage by storm in February.

“It’s not an illusion. The rumors are true. This year the SUPER BOWL goes GAGA!” she wrote on Twitter.

On Instagram Gaga shared a photo of herself wearing an NFL crop top and signing the contract using an acoustic guitar as a makeshift desk. “It’s a done deal! I can’t wait to rock for YOU from Houston!” she wrote in the caption. “Thank you Football fans and Music fans!! LET’S DO THIS!”

This won’t be the first time Mother Monster has performed during America’s greatest sports spectacle. You may remember (how could you forget?) that last year Gaga slayed the National Anthem in a glittery red Gucci pantsuit and a pair of red-and-white striped platform heels.
