Ceremonial tributes have been paid to five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel who lost their lives in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag. Wreaths were laid on their coffins draped in the national flag in a ceremony in Srinagar as their colleagues bid them adieu.

The five men identified as ASIs Neeru Sharma and Ramesh Kumar, constables Santander, MK Kushwaha and Mahesh Kumar were killed when terrorists opened fire at CRPF personnel of 116 battalion stationed in a vehicle in the main market area of Anantnag in southern Kashmir.
