Nashik Police Commissioner Ravinder Kumar Singhal has successfully completed the Ironman triathlon which involves a set of physically grueling activities. A triathlon is a multisport race with three continuous and sequential endurance races.
It is one of the toughest events in the world that includes cycling for a long stretch of 180 km, swimming for about 4 km and a 42-km full marathon. The event was held in France on Sunday, where 53-year-old Singhal, completed the triathlon in 15 hours and 13 minutes as against the stipulated time of 17 hours, his trainer Dr. Mustafa Topiwala told reporters here on Monday.
