Protests erupted in Tamil Nadu’s Trichy on Wednesday evening after a woman was killed on the road after being chased by the cops. 30-year-old Usha was killed after a traffic inspector allegedly kicked the two-wheeler on which she was travelling with her husband at Thuvakudi near Trichy.

The incident happened when Usha’s husband Raja who was riding the bike without wearing helmet tried to escape the traffic cops.
