Rollins Provides Roman Update, Cody Shows Jaguar Inspired Gear

By now, just about every wrestling fan has seen or heard of the incident with Roman Reigns earlier this year. Not long after winning the Universal Championship, Reigns announced on Raw that he would be relinquishing the title and take a hiatus from wrestling in order to battle leukemia. The disease returned after Reigns had previously beaten it earlier in his life. As a result, a ton of plans changed, and the demise of The Shield was even sped up to take place on the very same night that Reigns made his shocking announcement to the world. Very little news on the health and well being of Roman Reigns have been provided, but fortunately, Raw Superstar Seth Rollins has just provided a small update on his friend.
Seth Rollins appeared on the Fox 2 News program in Detroit, Michigan recently to promote Monday Night Raw (which was taped in the city last night), and he was asked about his good friend Roman Reigns. The former Intercontinental Champion said that Reigns is in a good place right now and seems to be doing alright. Of course, since Roman is no longer on the road with WWE, he has been spending much more time at home with his family while also seeking out the proper medical treatment. As far as a possible return for “The Big Dog,” Rollins says that he’s hoping to see Reigns back in action again “sooner rather than later,” but for the moment, Roman is focused on his health, which is his top priority right now.
“He’s in a good position. He’s primed to make a comeback, hopefully,
sometime sooner rather than later, but at the end of the day he’s just
focused on getting health right now. I will say he’s doing good, good

Cody Rhodes may have a very interesting year lined up for himself, but he will be starting 2019 off by traveling to Japan for NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 13 event on January 4th. Cody will be defending his IWGP United States Championship against Juice Robinson during the show, and Rhodes has just revealed a sneak peak at his gear for the event. What’s interesting about the picture of the weight belt that Cody tweeted out is that it is strikingly similar to the Jacksonville Jaguars logo. The Khan family, owners of the Jaguars, are rumored to be backing The Elite’s rumored All Elite Wrestling promotion in 2019. The Elite are teasing releasing more details about AEW on January 1st. Rhodes has since deleted the tweet, but an image of the weight belt has been saved and posted below:
