ROH State Of The Art Night 1 Results (6/15): San Antonio, Texas

Ring Of Honor (ROH) recently held night 1 of their State Of The Art Event which emanated from The Aztec Theater in San Antonio, Texas. The event streamed live on FITE TV and the HonorClub Platform and the broadcast team were Ian Riccaboni and Colt Cabana. Several international talents such as Atlantis, Lance Archer, Hurricane Helms and Thunder Rosa appeared on the show. ROH Stars such as Flip Gordon and Marty Scurll made their return to the company after a month in Japan fighting in the Best of the Super Juniors tournament. The main event of the night was supposed to be The Bullet Club taking on The Killer Elite Squad & The Briscoes, but The Briscoes were replaced by The Kingdom and the reason given was that The Briscoes had some problems with their flight. Below are the full results from the event:
– The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Vinny Marseglia) def. The Boys in a Singles Match with a Frog Splash. After the match, Matt Taven asked for a microphone and spoke about Dalton Castle. The leader of The Kingdom said that the world champion was a coward and he assured that he will soon defeat him. Taven then confirmed the absence of The Briscoes and announced that The Kingdom will be replacing them.
– Flip Gordon def. Rhett Titus in an Singles Match.

– Women Of Honor Champion Sumie Sakai & Tenille Dashwood def. Kelly Klein & Thunder Rosa in a Women of Honor Match.
– Jay Lethal def. TK O’Ryan with the Lethal Injection in an Singles Match.
– Team CMLL (Atlantis, Stuka Jr & Guerrero Maya Jr) def. SoCal Uncensored (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky) in a Six-Man Tag Team Match.
– Silas Young def. Curt Stallion in a Non-Title Singles Match.

– Punishment Martinez, Bully Ray & Shane Taylor def. Hurricane Helms, Delirious & Cheeseburger in a Six-Man Tag Team Match.
– Cody (with Brandi Rhodes & Burnard The Business Bear) def. Jonathan Gresham in a Singles Match.
– Bullet Club (The Young Bucks, Marty Scurll & Hangman Page) def. The Killer Elite Squad (Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr) & The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Vinny Marseglia) in the main event of the night.

The second and final night of the State of the Art Tour will be taking place in Dallas, Texas. The Briscoes will be defending their ROH World Tag Team Titles against The Killer Elite Squad, while The Kingdom will be defending their ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Titles against Team CMLL. The event will be broadcasted live on the Honor Club Platform. Other matches on the card will be:
– Silas Young vs. Jonathan Gresham vs. Cheeseburger vs. Punishment Martinez vs. Scorpio Sky vs. Adam Page (If any of the challengers pin Young, they instantly get a ROH World TV Championship match. If Young pins any of the challengers, they can’t challenge for the title for one year.)

– Cody vs. Shane Taylor
– Marty Scurll vs. Jay Lethal vs. Flip Gordon
– The Young Bucks vs. The Boys
