Bayley Turning Heel? Lesnar Contract Update, Lita Joining Hardys?

Bayley is one of the more beloved stars in WWE’s women’s division as the moment. She has been a fan-favorite for most of her career, and she just recently returned from an injury that she suffered earlier this year. She has been teaming up with her best friend, Sasha Banks, over the past few weeks now. According to a new report from Cageside Seats, there are more and more talks within the company about possibly turning Bayley heel in the near future. Bayley has been a babyface ever since she was signed by WWE, so the choice to turn her heel would definitely be an intriguing one. Hopefully, an update on what WWE will do with Bayley’s character will be provided soon.
One of the biggest rumors going around right now concerns the length of Brock Lesnar’s current contract with WWE. Brock is currently the Universal Champion, but there have been reports of him dropping the title to Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania next year, then leaving pro wrestling to rejoin the UFC. On the latest Dan Le Batard show, UFC President Dana White talked about the rumored fight between Lesnar and Jon Jones, and why it never happened. In the process, he revealed when Lesnar’s current WWE deal expires. “Well Lesnar was still under contract to the WWE until next August. Who knows what would have happened. I don’t count my chickens anymore, I’ll tell you that.” he said. Lesnar’s contract does not expire after Wrestlemania 34 as previously thought, but it does expire later in the summer of 2018.
WWE Hall of Famer Lita has managed to maintain a healthy relationship with WWE even though she no longer wrestles. Lita recently provided the commentary for the Mae Young Classic tournament, but it appears that she may be ready to do more with WWE now. During a Q&A panel in Paris, Lita was asked if she would ever work alongside the Hardy Boyz again, even if only for just one night. Lita revealed that she would have no problem doing so, and even hinted that it could be happening very soon. Lita teamed with the Hardys as Team Xtreme back in the early 2000s, so a reunion would definitely provide fans with a ton of fun nostalgia.
