Edge Reportedly Not Being Considered as a Potential Brock Lesnar Opponent for WM 36

— On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, the discussion of Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania opponent came up, especially after Lesnar declared for this month’s WWE Royal Rumble. Recent reports have focused on a returning Adam “Edge” Copeland as being cleared and possibly wrestling in a singles match at WrestleMania against Lesnar. Dave Meltzer went on record to state that he was “flat out told” that Edge is not scheduled to be wrestling Lesnar at WrestleMania so thus his conclusion is that “it couldn’t be Edge.” There continues to be conflicting reports on the status of Edge, with some suggesting that he’s readying himself for a return to WWE while he himself has gone on social media to deny those rumors.

— Other names that were discussed were Aleister Black – a Paul Heyman “project” who is going to continue to be pushed this year and a now babyface Drew McIntyre.
