Hulk Hogan Explains Why He Should Be Considered 13-Time World Champion

Something made Hulk Hogan do some thinking this weekend.

The recently reinstated WWE Hall Of Famer took to social media on Friday to comment about the number of World Championships he is credited as having won throughout his career in the pro wrestling history books.

“The Hulkster” posted a tweet yesterday reminding the pro wrestling world that in addition to the 12 World Championships that he won in WWE and WCW, he is also the first-ever IWGP Heavyweight Champion, a title that New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) star Kazuchika Okada currently holds.

“People always say I was 12 times champion but why does everyone forget that I was the first IWGP Heavyweight Champ, brother,” questioned Hogan out loud in a tweet posted on his official Twitter page this weekend. “Make it 13 times Champ brother.”
