Undertaker Set For Rare Out-Of-Character Appearance In ESPN Documentary

The ESPN “30 For 30” documentary is still in production and according to a AwfulAnnouncing.com, interviews are still being conducted by director Rory Karpf for the project.

Among those scheduled for the documentary are The Undertaker, Ricky Steamboat, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Jim Ross, Eric Bischoff, Sting and Flair’s three living children.

What’s notable about that particular list of names is the fact that The Undertaker is included, as he rarely makes out-of-character appearances. This was an adamant point that was basically a rule throughout the majority of his run as “The Dead Man” character.

During the infamous “Attitude Era,” when he changed to the biker / “American Bad Ass” character, he did make a couple of out-of-character appearances, including one on TSN’s “Off The Record with Michael Landsberg” in Canada to promote WrestleMania.

While no official release date for the “30 For 30” documentary has been announced, the aforementioned article notes that the feature is expected to be released in the spring or summer of 2017.
