Nakamura Beats Jericho In Japan, SmackDown Viewership Drops, More

– WWE posted the above video on their official YouTube channel on Friday, looking at the top ten moments from the Thursday, June 30th edition of SmackDown.

– Speaking of this week’s SmackDown, the show, which is one of the final taped episodes before the program switches to airing live every Tuesday night on July 19th with the special WWE Draft edition of the show, averaged 2.080 million viewers. By comparison, last week’s show averaged 2.145 million viewers.

– For those who like to keep track of rare matches, longtime WWE Superstar Chris Jericho lost to newcomer and Japanese legend Shinsuke Nakamura in his home country, as Nakamura pinned Jericho in their singles bout at the WWE live event in Tokyo, Japan on Friday. In the main event of the show, Dean Ambrose successfully defend his WWE Championship in a triple-threat match against Kevin Owens and former champion Seth Rollins.
