As reported earlier this week, a fan was injured by a piece of the Cadillac car door that was thrown by Brock Lesnar on Monday’s WWE RAW in Chicago. The fan was then tended to by WWE trainers and EMTs before being brought backstage and later returning to his seat to watch the rest of the show. WWE also loaded him up with tons of free merchandise.
The N.Y. Daily News has picked up on the story, which has prompted WWE to release an official statement. The statement reads:
“WWE immediately responded to the incident during last night’s show. The fan was unharmed and declined any medical attention.”
