Potential Spoiler On Surprise Former Champion Referee At Impact Wrestling

As reported, a former TNA World Champion will be returning to serve as a surprise special guest referee for the TNA title match between Kurt Angle and Eric Young, which will air on a two-hour delay from Orlando, Florida for tonight’s edition of Impact Wrestling on Destination America.

While no names are official at this point, these are the rumored names floating around within certain circles, as well as little bullet points as to why or why they may not be the man who ends up serving as special ref.

– Sting (highly unlikely due to his WWE deal)
– Samoa Joe (possible, but unlikely due to his rumored negotiations with WWE)
– Mick Foley (also seems unlikely now that he just recently taped a highly-promoted special for the WWE Network)
– A.J. Styles (would seem unlikely due to his various commitments, including Ring Of Honor starting next Tuesday)
– Chris Sabin (a possibility)
– Rob Van Dam (a possibility)
– Bully Ray (a very strong possibility)

In addition to tonight’s two-hour delay version of Impact Wrestling on Destination America, TNA will also be taping the next several weeks worth of Impact Wrestling throughout the next three or four days in Orlando, Florida. Make sure to stop back by the website over the next few days for complete spoiler results of the multiple Impact Wrestling television tapings.
