Jim Ross & Steve Austin To Team Up For Live Show?, Update On JR's Book

WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross noted in a recent blog on his official website that WWE’s decision to postpone the filming of the return season of Tough Enough ended up resulting in he and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin delaying some plans they had to work together.

Ross and Austin were reportedly looking to debut a two-man show together in Las Vegas, Nevada, an act that was actually supposed to debut this past weekend in conjunction with UFC 175. The deal ended up falling through due to some separate commitments that Austin had, ones that ended up falling through.

There is talk that JR and “Stone Cold” could end up teaming up for a two-man show in San Jose, California for WrestleMania 31, or possibly other markets.

Speaking of JR, he is finished with his one-man shows until 2015, as he is working on his autobiography. While the WWE Hall Of Fame announcer has yet to secure a publishing deal, he has started work on the project with Scott Williams, a writer who has worked on books for “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, “Cowboy” Bill Watts and Terry Funk in the past.
