— As reported earlier, Mickie James was out of action this past week because one of her breast implants ruptured during a a recent match, thus explaining why she didn’t wrestle on television. It is believed that the rupture took place on September 5th since she worked the live event that night in St. Paul, but didn’t the next night in Madison. In an update on the situation, James underwent a corrective procedure over the weekend and is expected to be back in action relatively soon.
— As noted before, there was talk that Lilian Garcia would host an episode of Monday Night Raw before departing from WWE. Considering Cedric the Entertainer will be hosting next week’s show from Little Rock — her last scheduled show at last word — those plans appear to be off the cards. It should be noted that Lilian was originally planned to host Raw the week Sgt. Slaughter ended up hosting.
— For those interested, last week’s episode of ECW had 26 minutes and 36 seconds of actual wrestling. By comparison, TNA’s two-hour Impact broadcast last Thursday had 31 minutes and 51 seconds of in-ring action.
