A l’occasion du 7e anniversaire du soulèvement bahreïni, des organisations internationales de défense des droits de l’homme demandent à la communauté internationale d’aider à la libération des journalistes et des défenseurs des droits humains emprisonnés au Bahreïn, certains à vie.

Quinze journalistes et journalistes-citoyens – parmi lesquels Nabeel Rajab – sont actuellement emprisonnés au Bahreïn pour avoir simplement exercé leur mission d’information. La presse est tenue de suivre la ligne officielle, comme en témoigne la fermeture du dernier journal indépendant Al Wasat l’année dernière.
