The “Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne emerged victorious from a triple threat match tonight at NXT Takeover: WarGames over heavyweight juggernauts Killian Dain and Damian Priest (fka Punishment Martinez). The win has earned Dunne an opportunity to face Adam Cole for the NXT Championship in a match Sunday night at WWE Survivor Series, live on pay-per-view.

That will mean in a span of just five days, Cole will have competed in a ladder match on NXT television, an 8-man tag team match on Friday Night Smackdown, a WarGames match at Takeover, and defended his title on one of the biggest WWE shows of the entire year.
