Former Impact Wrestling X-Division Champion DJZ has reported to the WWE Performance Center, confirming recent reports that he had signed with the company.
DJZ (real name Michael Paris) has had a distinguished career, marred unfortunately in recent years by injuries on the independent scene. He joins fellow BroManz tag team partner Robbie E, who is working on NXT Live events as a manager.
According to ProWrestling.com Managing Editor Mike Killam, there was definite interest from AEW several months ago, and at one point he was even offered a deal. After speaking with WWE, who has been interested in bringing him in for quite some time, he was able to leverage the AEW offer and ultimately signed with WWE for more money.
