Above is a video clip featuring WWE Hall of Famer Jim Cornette appearing on Busted Open Radio, and during the appearance Cornette offers an idea, involving Daniel Bryan, to get Roman Reigns over as a babyface in WWE. The discussion begins at the 1:20 mark in the video above.

Cornette essentially boils the “Roman Reigns problem” down to the WWE fans not disliking Reigns, but “revolting” against the “evil empire” that is WWE, and the company’s insistence on pushing Reigns as the top guy in the company despite the fans wanting other wrestlers in that role, namely Daniel Bryan. This leads to Cornette suggesting that Roman Reigns do an angle in which he destroys Daniel Bryan, but when The Authority praises him for his actions, he then turns on them too. Ultimately, Cornette suggests that Reigns playing the role of someone who doesn’t like anybody, including babyfaces and heels, could help get him cheered.

New WWE Trademark Hints at Possible New Show

According to PWInsider.com, WWE has filed to trademark the phrase “WWE VIP”, which could either be a trademark pertaining to live events or could be hinting at a possible new WWE TV show of some sort.
