Former WWE Universal Champion Bill Goldberg recently spoke with Bill Apter of 1Wrestling.com while at Maryland Championship Wrestling’s “Tribute to the Legend’s” event on September 30th, 2017. You can watch the entire interview in the video below, and the following are some highlights:
On a possible WWE return:
“You know, just like 8 months ago, it wasn’t up to me. It’s not my decision. I don’t pick up the phone and say ‘hey Vince [McMahon], I want to come back’. That’s not how I work. But the reality is that you never say never, man. I still got a son who really wants me to get back in the ring, but can I do it? I mean physically, who knows? If [Vince] was to pick up the phone and ask me that question then I’d have to seriously consider it.”

On who he wanted to wrestle during his last WWE run:
“Well Undertaker for sure. I mean Roman [Reigns] for sure because, Georgia/Georgia Tech, Spear/Spear. He’s a couple days younger than me…Braun [Strowman]…I mean, I’m way past my prime. I still owe [Brock] Lesnar one…”
