Keith Lee returned to WWE Raw tonight, complete with a new nickname.
On tonight’s show, Akira Tozawa was upset after failing to win the WWE 24/7 title in the previous segment. He issued a challenge to anyone for a match, calling out R-Truth. Lee answered instead, being introduced as Keith “Bearcat” Lee. He quickly picked up the win after pinning Tozawa with a powerslam.
Lee was introduced under the Bearcat nickname for the first time prior to a dark match held before last Friday’s SmackDown tapings, facing an unknown opponent. He had been working dark matches prior to the start of Raw and SmackDown since early August.
He previously returned to WWE after being gone for several months in July due to illness brought on by COVID-19. He lost to Bobby Lashley in his return match and later to Karrion Kross before defeating Kross on August 2, that being his final televised match prior to tonight.
