Borussia Dortmund have announced that Neven Subotic is joining Saint-Etienne for €750k after spending a decade at the Bundesliga club.
The Serbian has only played four times in the Bundesliga for the Black and Gold, and never made the most of his loan spell last season at Koln. That being said, Les Verts are getting an experienced defender who isn’t over the hill just yet and could add to their squad for the rest of this season.
The 29-year-old had played 263 games for Dortmund after joining from Mainz in 2008, scoring 18 goals and winning both the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal under Jürgen Klopp, and finishing runner up in the Champions League final to Bayern Munich at Wembley.
