Saracens have been handed a boost after England international duo Jamie George and Elliot Daly agreed new contracts with the Premiership club.
The British & Irish Lions hooker and versatile back are both crucial players in the Sarries squad and the news will delight the supporters at StoneX Stadium.
32-year-old George, who joined the club’s academy as a 14-year-old, has gone on to make 263 appearances for Saracens, making his debut back in 2009.
Has won 72 caps for England
The hooker has also impressed on the international stage for England, making 72 appearances and featuring in three British and Irish Lions Tests to date.
George has won five Premiership trophies and three European Cups during his time with Saracens and is delighted to have re-signed for the league leaders.
“I am beyond excited to be extending my time at this amazing club. When making this decision, I reflected back on what an incredible journey it has been with some truly inspiring people,” he said.
“The thing that excites me most going forward is that there is so much more to come and I am very passionate about being a part of that.”
Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall was full of praise for George and hailed his influence around the squad as they push for a successful campaign.

“Jamie represents everything good about the club and we are of course delighted that he has re-signed with us,” he said.

“His influence on the group both on and off the pitch is enormous and it is brilliant news that he will remain at Saracens.”
Meanwhile, the versatile Daly has won 56 caps for England and played five Tests for the Lions, impressing at the club since his move from Wasps in 2019.
“I have loved every minute of being part of this club since I joined so it was an easy decision to re-sign,” he explained.
“The coaches and players are building towards something special and I’m so happy to be part of the journey moving forward.”

McCall was also delighted to see Daly ink a new deal at the club, with his contract announcement coming only days after a strong showing against Edinburgh.
“Elliot is a huge part of our group,” he said.
“He brings a fantastic amount of energy every day to training, his performances have been consistently outstanding and we are thrilled he has extended his stay at the club.”
