Tuesday ratings: Dark Side of the Ring, WWE Backstage

Dark Side of the Ring’s documentary on New Jack drew the third-most viewers in show history. In the 18-49 demo, it was the second-highest rated episode of Dark Side of the Ring.

The episode averaged 229,000 viewers on Vice TV, down from the 320,000 that last week’s season premiere averaged. The rating in the 18-49 demo was a 0.11, down from last week’s 0.14.

The only season one episode that averaged more viewers was “The Last of the Von Erichs.”

Here’s a look at Dark Side of the Ring ratings for season one and the first two episodes of season two:

Season one —
Macho Man & Ms. Elizabeth — 154,000 viewers, 0.06 rating in 18-49
The Montreal Screwjob — 181,000 viewers, 0.07 rating in 18-49
Bruiser Brody — 214,000 viewers, 0.07 rating in 18-49
The Von Erich family — 234,000 viewers, 0.08 rating in 18-49
Gino Hernandez — 225,000 viewers, 0.08 rating in 18-49
The Fabulous Moolah — 200,000 viewers, 0.07 rating in 18-49
Season two —
Chris Benoit (two-hour episode) — 320,000 viewers, 0.14 rating in 18-49
New Jack — 229,000 viewers, 0.11 rating in 18-49

Last night’s After Dark post-show for the New Jack episode averaged 92,000 viewers, which was down from last week’s 127,000. The rating in 18-49 for both weeks was a 0.05.

WWE Backstage returned to FS1 last night with an episode done remotely that also streamed online at the same time. It averaged 134,000 viewers on FS1, and the rating in 18-49 was a 0.04. A replay of this year’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view aired on FS1 before Backstage.
