1/14/16 WWE Raw House Show Results from Wichita, KS

WWE held a Saturday afternoon house show that started at 1:00 featuring the
Superstars of Raw. The advertised double main event was Reigns vs Owens for the
Universal Title and Rollins vs Y2J, which was updated to be for the U.S Title a
few days ago. The card changed up a bit and as always card is subject to change.

Match 1) Cesaro and Sheamus defeated The New Day (Big E & Xavier w/ Kofi) and
Gallows & Anderson in a Triple Threat Match to retain the Raw Tag Titles when
Cesaro held up Anderson for A Brogue Kick and Sheamus scored the pin. Very good
opener and Cesaro was really over as he posed and the crowd booed Sheamus as he
posed.

Match 2) Braun Strowman defeated Sami Zayn following a Running Powerslam. Not a
total Squash as Zayn delivered some offense.

Match 3) Big Show, Golden Truth, Darren Young (w/ Mr. Backlund) and Sin Cara
defeated Bo Dallas, Jindar Mahal, The Shining Stars, and Titus O’Neil when Show
pinned Mahal after the Chokeslam.

Match 4) Rich Swann defeated TJ Perkins and Brian Kendrick in a Triple Threat Match
to retain the Cruiserweight Title when Swann pinned Kendrick after a Spinning Kick
to the head.

– Lana cut her usual heel Promo by stating Rusev will C-R-U-S-H Big Cass tonight,
down talked America and said her husband is a true American hero and the only man
who can have her. This brought out Enzo and Cass and as they both were on the mic
doing their usual pre match in ring promo to hype up the crowd.

Match 5) Big Cass (with Enzo) defeated Rusev (with Lana) following a Big Boot to the
face. Lana was ejected at the end of the match when she argued with the ref and
pulled his shirt.

Match 6) Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Alicia Fox defeated Raw Woman’s Champion
Charlotte, Dana Brooke, and Nia Jax following a Bayley to Belly Suplex on Dana.

Chris Jericho promo- Y2J claimed he is the greatest champion ever now since he beat
ROMAN Reigns to win the U.S title last Monday and then he down talked Wichita by
saying “we are the anus” in a funny comedy spot. Seth’s music hit and he came out to
the ring.

Match 7) Seth Rollins defeated United States Champion Chris Jericho by DQ.

This started off as a singles match until Jericho tried to leave up the ramp.
Rollins chased him. Out came Owens with the sneak attack. The match was thrown out.
They continued to attack Seth. Out came Roman for the save to set up a Tag match.

Main Event: Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins defeated U.S Champion Chris Jericho and
Universal Champion Kevin Owens when Reigns and Rollins both scored the pinfalls
after Reigns hit Y2J with a Spear and Rollins gave Owens the Pedigree. Solid tag
main event and afterward both ROMAN and Seth celebrated with the crowd to a big pop.

– Overall a great show but the Intrust Bank Arena had very low attendance due to the
Ice Storms this weekend, which made it seem like an ” Indy Show” but the crowd was
really into it nonetheless.
