TNA superstar Christian Cage is the latest pro wrestler to cross over into the realm of motion pictures. Christian will be co-starring in “Dark Rising”, a film currently in post production and due out later this year. The synopsis for the movie says:

A broken heart, a battle axe, a demon and a lesbian ex-fiancée… Jason Parks’ life goes from bad to worse as a series of supernatural events turn his dream of reconciliation with ex-fiancée Jasmine into a portal seeking, demon hunting nightmare…

Christian is billed as Jason Reso, his real name. He plays the best friend of the main character. From the looks of the trailer, it appears to be low budget and pretty campy – much like TNA (zing!).
