For those that have not heard, there was a WWE vs. TNA match at one of King Booker’s PWA shows on June 29th in Pasadena, Texas.
King Booker & Dawg Chetum took on Team 3-D, losing to the star TNA tag team. There were approximately 580 fans on hand for the event, all whom were chanting “TNA” throughout the arena. Prior to the match, Brother Ray insulted Houston wrestling fans and Booker, however, after winning the match proclaimed that they would come and work whenever the fans wanted to see them. Bubba then started a “PWA” chant amongst the live crowd. WWE’s Umaga made a special appearance (although he didn’t work the show), staring Booker down as he left ringside.
As things currently stand, there are no future plans for TNA talent to be involved at the next PWA show.
