23-year-old Nixon Newell from Bargoed, Wales has been rebranded with a new name for the second time in her WWE developmental run.
Newell made her pro wrestling debut in 2013 and quickly exploded onto the women’s wrestling scene, working with promotions like PROGRESS, What Culture Pro Wrestling (now DEFIANT Wrestling), Attack!, Stardom and Shimmer. She is a former WCPW Women’s Champion, and you can watch her full Last Woman Standing title bout against Bae Priestly in the video above.

Newell was signed to a WWE deal in 2017 and was supposed to be a part of the original Mae Young Classic, but was forced to withdraw due to an unfortunate ACL injury. She returned to the ring this April during an NXT Live event teaming with Dakota Kai, working under her real name Stephanie Newell, but according to the new WWE Performance Center website she will be working under the name Tegan Nox going forward.
